Hey y'all, I'm Alex!

I'm an experienced storyteller, journalist and audio producer.

 

I am currently working as a senior news producer for Morning Edition on KCRW, NPR's station in Southern California. 

​

As a daily news producer, I consistently write and report on the various complexities of life in Los Angeles as it relates to local government, climate change, health, policy, inequity, transportation and the environment.

​

As a freelance journalist, I have experience with feature writing, news writing, audio journalism and production, copy editing, research, writing for social media along with design, photography, coding and videography.

​

Outside of storytelling, I love to read novels, tap dance and

spend time with my dog.
